So how does online counselling work?
This is the technical bit…..SEC works with clients world-wide using a secure and encrypted platform such as Skype Business or ZOOM. You will need an online device which you can download the appropriate application on and headphones are advisable. I use headphones during our meetings and that way, only I can be 100% sure that only we hear our conversations. You and I will be the only people present at our meetings – please read the section on Our Agreement and the Therapeutic Relationship by clicking the link below.
On booking your appointment with SEC, you will receive a booking code which you will be required to use to access our session. This code will change each time you book into a new session and will be emailed to you in preparation. So, on tapping that in and following the on screen instructions we will be connected. It’s easier than it may first appear and of course, being online, means that we can start or continue our sessions together wherever you are in the World.
